Air-conditioning and filter systems not only keep the air clean but also ensure optimum work conditions.
The assembly of binoculars and riflescopes, for example, is divided into several assembly groups which comprise pre-assembly and final assembly and are included in the inspection by the quality assurance department. The assembly groups work on the principle of flow production. The units are assembled at manual workstations connected with each other by a transport belt. Staff must be highly skilled and flexible as they are sometimes required to work at different workstations.
