RAPID Z® 5
The precise long-distance shot is one of the greatest
challenges for hunters. Normally only intensive training
and a high degree of experience will result in successful shots at extended range.

Once the correct distance to the target is measured the corresponding holdover line is placed on the target to ensure
an accurate shot.

Unlike the complexity involved with several standard ballistic reticles, the RAPID Z® 5 impresses with its surprising simplicity. Once the magnification matching the ballistic used is set, you can practically do no wrong. Clearly indexed hold lines, finely divided into 25 m increments quickly and reliably guide marksmen to their target. Special windage marks on the hold lines help correct for minimal (2.5 m/s) or light (5 m/s) wind. Adverse lighting conditions were also taken into consideration: the entire target area of the crosshairs can be illuminated and, like the Victory Diavari, precisely dimmed.
For the Diavari 2.5-10x50 T* and 3-12x56 T* models, which will be available as of May 2008, the RAPID Z® 5 is the absolute convincing solution to long-distance hunting. In the future, ballistic tables and calculators can be left at home.

Sighting in and Adjusting

Procedure
  1. Set the riflescope on the highest magnification and sight-in at 100 meters.
  2. The holdover lines of the RAPID-Z® 5 reticle are calculated according to the ballistic correction values of the most rapid and common cartridge loads of the .300 Win. Mag. / .300 WSM / .270 WSM with the highest magnification factor. As an example: When using a .300 Win. Mag. Blaser CDP 10,7 gram cartridge set the scope to maximum magnification.
  3. When using a less rapid cartridge load with a stronger bullet drop, please, read just the magnification to 10,5 x or 11 x (e.g. model Diavari 3 –12 × 56 T*). For more details, please use the chart below to allocate the right magnification setting.

At the first time the new long distance recticles is integrated in the modells Victory Diavari 2,5 - 10 x 50 T* and Victory Diavari 3 - 12 x 56 T*.
