The Bullet Drop Compensator (BDC) from Carl Zeiss
Expertly placing your shot at different ranges requires years of experience and perfect equipment. With its Bullet Drop Compensator (BDC), Carl Zeiss provides a helpful and practical adjustment possibility that enables you to quickly and precisely make holdover adjustments. Hunters can now simply set the desired range and remain on target at long distance. Aiming above or tedious click counting is a thing of the past.

The BDC is simply adjusted to ballistic information of the hunting ammunition using an adhesive aluminum index film. With each delivery, you receive 2x five metal stickers for practically all standard hunting calibers. They are divided into 100 to 300 m at 50 m increments and from 300 to 400 m at 25 m increments. The 1 stands for 100 m, the 2 for 200m, etc.

The new BDC can be locked in position to prevent accidental adjustments while aiming the weapon. To set the BDC, lift the adjusting knob and turn it to the corresponding distance. It locks into place when it is released.
Select the correct sticker by comparing the chart below with the ballistic data of the ammunition. You can also send us the ammunition data. We will then select the corresponding sticker (metal film) and attach it to the BDC adjustment knob.
